Existing Apple Pay Later users with open loans will still be able to manage and settle their payments through the Wallet app. The discontinuation of the BNPL service marks a shift in Apple's approach to consumer financing, as the company focuses on integrating its payment platform with established lenders to provide more comprehensive financial services.

Apple is set to introduce Messages via satellite with iOS 18, enabling users to send texts without Wi-Fi or cellular service.
